"We'll help your farm business remain environmentally and economically stable"

Fertco's on-farm advice will take a structured approach
Step 1 - Understanding Your Goals
Everyone has different objectives.
We need to understand these so we have a clear picture of what you wish to achieve.
Step 2 - Soil Test
What is your farm nutrient status?
It is generally stated that 16 elements are required: Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium, Sulphur, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Manganese, Iron, Zinc, Chlorine, Boron, Copper and Molybdenum.
Remember the productivity of the soil can never be greater than the plant nutrient in the least supply.
Step 3 - Fertiliser Recommendation
Set up a strategy to 'balance' your soils so as to maximise your potential gate returns. This will include nutrient budgets on Dairy farms.
Step 4 - Feed the Soil Micro Organisms
This we believe should be after any major element deficiency has been addressed, as a lot of these products are used to fine tune your soils biological system.
Step 5 - On-going Consultation
Regular visits and consulltations to ensure your farm operation is living up to your expectation.
